Techso is looking for a Senior Guidewire Solution Architect to contribute to large-scale digital transformation projects for clients across Canada.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end Guidewire solutions, defining technical standards, and providing leadership throughout the entire software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with enterprise architects, business analysts, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure project success.

What You'll Do
Depending on the projects assigned to you, you will:
Design end-to-end solution architectures based on the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform.
Define technical standards, architecture principles, and development best practices.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Lead architecture workshops and participate in solution design sessions with clients.
Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams throughout project delivery.
Design integrations between Guidewire and enterprise applications using APIs, messaging, and middleware technologies.
Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and maintainability requirements.
Perform architecture and code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices.
Support testing, deployment, and production implementation activities.
Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Stay up to date with Guidewire product releases and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams throughout the project lifecycle.
The Profile We're Looking For
You have:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of software development experience.
At least 5 years of experience designing and delivering Guidewire solutions.
Strong expertise with the Guidewire InsuranceSuite, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
Strong knowledge of Java and technologies within the Guidewire ecosystem.
Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
Professional proficiency in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients across Quebec and Canada.
Nice to Have
Guidewire certifications.
Experience within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry.
Experience modernizing legacy insurance systems.
Experience with cloud-native architectures.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
Experience mentoring architects or development teams.
Consulting experience with enterprise clients.
