Your Next Challenge at Techso
Are you passionate about automation, cloud environments, and the continuous improvement of technology infrastructure?
Would you like to design reliable architectures, optimize deployment processes, and help clients modernize their technology environments?
Techso is looking for a DevOps Specialist – AWS and Azure to contribute to challenging projects for clients located across Canada.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of development and operations. You will help design, deploy, and maintain high-performing cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with technical teams and clients.
Who We Are
Founded in Montreal in 2014, Techso helps organizations accelerate their digital transformation through three areas of expertise:
IT Infrastructure Management;

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Our team works with recognized clients across a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, finance, events, and watchmaking.
At Techso, we value the quality of our projects and relationships over volume. Our core values—Fun, Trust, Efficiency, and Quality—guide both the way we work with our clients and how we collaborate as colleagues.
What You’ll Do
Depending on the projects assigned to you, you will:
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and configure systems according to each project’s requirements;
Design, implement, and enhance cloud architectures and infrastructure on AWS and Azure;
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployments;
Deploy, monitor, and maintain systems in operational condition;
Administer environments, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize system performance;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the technical foundation using tools such as Git, Ansible, and Terraform;
Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines;
Support virtualized, containerized, and orchestrated environments;
Design and deliver technical training sessions;
Participate in an on-call rotation that may occasionally require evening or weekend interventions;
Ensure that solutions are delivered according to agreed quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
The Profile We’re Looking For
You have:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role;
Strong expertise in Linux environments, including Ubuntu, Red Hat, or Debian;
Solid knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms and services;
Experience working with Open Source applications and technologies;
Strong knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code tools, including Ansible and Terraform;
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
Experience working with Agile practices and methodologies;
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash;
The ability to work effectively in demanding and constantly evolving operations environments;
Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team mindset, and a service-oriented approach;
The flexibility to travel within the Montreal area based on client needs;
The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located across Quebec and Canada.
Nice to Have
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools;
Knowledge of platforms such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps;
Experience with monitoring, observability, and logging;
Knowledge of tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog;
Experience with cloud security and identity and access management;
AWS, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications;
Experience in consulting or multisite environments;
Experience developing or delivering technical training.
You do not need to know every DevOps tool on the market. Above all, we are looking for an autonomous, detail-oriented, and solution-driven professional who can build reliable environments and collaborate effectively with both technical teams and clients.
