For its Culture, Leisure, Sports and Social Development Department, the City of Laval is looking for: Ice Rink Maintenance Operator
STATUS: Temporary
JOB POSTING NUMBER: 4238
SALARY: Class 4 – from $33.47 to $33.47
SCHEDULE: NIGHT; FRI. SAT. SUN. - 18:00 to 06:00
WORK LOCATION: Chomedey Arena, TP and CLSDS, 1160 PIE X STREET A/S CHOMEDEY ARENA, GREEN SPACES - PUBLIC WORKS, CLSDS(3) LAVAL H7Y 3B5 (see map below)
Perform various maintenance tasks on the ice surfaces of indoor rinks using an ice resurfacer and maintain the arena facilities.
- Must hold a class 5 driver's license in accordance with the requirements of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec;
- Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to operate an ice maintenance machine (Zamboni);
- Good physical condition, ability to perform various manual tasks.
