Accounting Technician – Accounting Firm

About the Position

Are you meticulous, organized, and do you enjoy working with numbers?
Our client, a well-established accounting firm, is looking for an Accounting Technician to support the professionals in managing the files of their diverse clientele.
In this role, you will actively participate in bookkeeping, month-end preparation, and tax and government filings.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Perform complete bookkeeping for various Clients

• Prepare year-end financial statements in support of professional accountants

• Manage GST/QST/DAS returns

• Collaborate in the preparation of month-end reports

• Support case managers in audit and analysis engagements

• Maintain clear communication with clients to ensure quality service

Your Profile

• DEP, DEC or AEC in Accounting

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a firm

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Taxprep, Acomba…)

• Excellent command of French (written and spoken)

• Rigorous, discreet, autonomous, and a good team player
