A green energy manufacturing company located in Saint-Jérôme is seeking a dynamic buyer to join its team. This role is essential to ensuring a reliable supply of materials and services, while contributing to the continuous improvement of supply chain operations. Research and purchase materials, supplies, and services competitively and cost-effectively. Identify and qualify new suppliers. Manage the bidding and evaluation process. Negotiate and establish contractual agreements, including terms and conditions, with suppliers. Align procurement activities with operational needs to support production schedules. Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, preventing stockouts and overstocking. Provide support, guidance, and delegation to purchasing agents. Collaborate with engineering to approve new suppliers and manage product changes. Contribute to the continuous improvement of supply chain management processes and systems. Actively participate in the implementation and use of the MRP system.
