Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, and the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
Main missions and responsibilities:
• Order/Demand Alignment:
o Align purchase orders with MPS demand.
o Process error messages in the SAP system (delays, quantity adjustments, early deliveries)
o Manage the Air Supply customer/supplier communication portal.
o Launch external orders.
• Order Tracking:
o Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors.
o Manage purchase order acknowledgments.
o Communicate supply plans to suppliers.
o Track the logistics flow of shipped components.
o Resolve billing disputes.
• Supplier Relationship Management:
o Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery in expected quantities.
o Ensure supplier compliance with contractual conditions.
o Collaborate with suppliers, technicians, and quality assurance to resolve quality issues (approvals, deliveries, follow-up on corrective actions).
o Report anomalies and issues to relevant stakeholders.
o Occasionally travel to local and international suppliers.
• Analysis and Reporting:
o Support risk analysis related to workload, capacity, and increased cadence.
o Participate in supplier performance evaluation.
o Prepare monthly reports on tier 1 suppliers (risks, issues, actions, quality indicators, logistics).
• Performance and Facilitation:
o Prepare monthly performance measures.
o Participate in various meetings (Supply Review, QRQC, monthly MPS)
o Participate in various improvement projects.
• College studies in industrial engineering or supply chain management (DEC or AEC) or any other relevant training.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement.
• Experience in Aeronautics (an asset).
