Aquatic Fitness Instructor

SALARY: Level 1: $23.17/hour (aqua fitness, aqua jogging, aqua fit) / Level 2: $30.94/hour (aqua stroller, aqua prenatal, aqua spinning)
SCHEDULE: Day, evening, and weekend
WORK MODE: In-person
WORK LOCATION: CLSDS Aquatic Complex, 2205 AVENUE TERRY-FOX Laval H7T 2T8
- Ensures the safety of users at all times;
- Teaches an activity program;
- Ensures the safety of users at all times within the pool area and its surroundings;
- Enforces pool regulations;
- Maintains discipline;
- Assists in organizing and animating activities at the pool;
- Collaborates on maintenance work;
- Ensures that equipment and the site are kept in good condition;
- Protects the city's movable property and that of the public;
- Ensures that the various required reports are completed;
- Submits a report to their immediate supervisor regarding any anomalies observed;
- Provides first aid and executes received directives in case of serious injuries;
- Calls the police in cases of vandalism, theft, and incidents that warrant it;

- Must have completed the following valid certificates: National Lifeguard issued by the Lifesaving Society, aquatic fitness instructor issued by ARAQ
