Library Manager

Perform various tasks related to the coordination and supervision of employees assigned to the activities of the Anne-Marie Alonzo central library.

The large building named L'Épicentre-Culturel will bring together under one roof the Anne-Marie Alonzo central library and the Professional Artistic Creation Center.

• Hold a DEC in Documentation Techniques;
• Have two (2) years of relevant experience in the position, particularly in public libraries and in team coordination or supervision;
• Have an interest in literature and general culture and a good understanding of the roles played by public libraries in the 21st century;
• Have a very good knowledge of French, both spoken and written;
• Possess excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills and know how to work in a team;
• Be comfortable with computers and new technologies and have a good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
• Be organized and able to work under pressure, respond adequately to unforeseen situations, and demonstrate great adaptability.

For the year 2026 and part of the year 2027, the schedule will be as follows: From Monday to Thursday, from 8:15 AM to 5:30 PM

As soon as the library opens to the public, scheduled for fall 2027, the Alternating schedule will be implemented, as indicated below:
