Reporting to the Deputy Director of Financial Accounting, you act as the main person responsible for tax control, municipal tax collection, and other revenue related to taxation. In this capacity, you plan and coordinate the analysis of the impact of new tax laws and internal procedures to ensure fair, compliant, and adequate taxation.
You also play a central strategic role within the Finance Department, particularly regarding budgeting, financial forecasting, and accountability. You actively participate in the annual year-end audit process and significantly contribute to the development of the annual budget. You are responsible for the preparation, analysis, and monitoring of the budget related to taxation activities, including tax revenues, and ensure rigorous and proactive financial planning. You coordinate and supervise all the work required within your division and ensure the quality, reliability, and relevance of the financial information produced, particularly for the financial report.
With a view to continuous improvement, you identify and implement best management practices, update and develop policies, programs, standards, and administrative procedures, and deploy concrete measures aimed at optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the activities under your responsibility. You work closely with the strategic planning of the Department and contribute to defining, developing, and recommending the orientations, objectives, priorities, and programs of your sector of activity.
As a manager, you assess the needs for human, material, and financial resources necessary for the proper functioning of the division and ensure sound management of the budgets entrusted to you. You mobilize, guide, and support a team of 36 employees, fostering a climate of collaboration, accountability, and engagement. You establish priorities, clarify objectives and expectations, support decision-making, and ensure the efficient execution of mandates. You evaluate performance, recognize individual and collective contributions, and promote skill development through training, coaching, and ongoing communication.
Operating in a context of change and high complexity, you are a key player in the transformation project of the Finance Department and actively contribute to its evolution, modernization, and overall performance.
