At the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), you will participate in large-scale projects where your rigor, curiosity, and analytical skills will make all the difference. Your Role

Under the direction of the Digital Forensics and Operations Support team, the incumbent will contribute to digital evidence investigations.

She acts as a specialist in the research, preservation, and analysis of electronic evidence, while supporting investigators and litigants in their work. In this capacity, she is required to: Search for, seize, and preserve digital evidence relevant to an investigation; Analyze digital evidence according to legal parameters; Assist investigators and litigants in identifying digital evidence and ensuring its legal validity; Act as a resource person for Authority staff on any questions related to digital evidence; Collaborate with the team of investigators in conducting cyber investigations, according to established procedures and conditions; Contribute to the continuous improvement of methods and tools related to digital investigations; Stay informed of best practices in technological and applied cyber investigations to investigations.

Your Skills and Expertise Bachelor's degree in administration, law, or a related field; Bachelor's degree in computer science or cyber investigation (a significant asset); Minimum of three (3) years of experience in investigative techniques or a related field; Good knowledge of spoken and written French and English to ensure effective communication with partners and stakeholders outside Quebec, where English is used in investigations; Excellent analytical, synthesis, and decision-making skills; Ability to testify in court; Ability to work effectively in a team and in Interdisciplinary collaboration;
  • Excellent writing skills: precise, structured, and adapted to the investigative context;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to urgent or changing situations;
  • Autonomy, rigor, discretion, credibility, and sound judgment;
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.
