The challenges that await you
Reporting to the shared services division head, you will collaborate on the implementation and execution of large-scale project work. To this end, you will coordinate and ensure the technical and administrative link between the project manager and the department's management. You will provide applicants with all relevant information regarding your area of expertise.
More specifically, you will be required to:
Plan and coordinate, with various departments, service interruptions during the execution of work or maintenance of equipment related to your area of expertise;
Provide specialized technical support in water, particularly in terms of physicochemical monitoring. Interpret water analysis results from rivers, effluents, discharges, etc., identify potential issues, and propose solutions;
Check plans, specifications, and materials related to the execution of work in your area of expertise, as well as proposed changes during construction work;
Participate in the internal management meetings of the department, provide any relevant information regarding your area of expertise, and ensure follow-up on decisions concerning your sector.
The ideal profile for us
Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering;
Have six (6) years of relevant experience in the role, particularly in project management in the field of water treatment (pre-project studies, needs definition, design, site supervision, and acceptance of deliverables), including managing professional and technical service mandates of the same nature;
Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
Have worked on large-scale projects and/or in alternative delivery modes, an asset;
Have worked on a project in an operational maintenance context (24/7), an asset;
Have worked on a wastewater treatment plant project, an asset;
Have worked on projects requiring interdisciplinary coordination, an asset.
