Line Operator, Multipurpose (Day)

Listening to its customers for four generations, Laiterie Chalifoux's mission is to constantly innovate and create dairy trends, specializing in the processing of dairy products which it markets across Canada under the Riviera brand.

Your tasks :

• Handle products according to production phases
• Operates machines that can mix, stir, cool, package, cut or perform any step of the manufacturing process
• Carry out adjustment and adjustment of the machine in preparation for the start of production
• Complete different production registers
• Proceed to wash equipment according to established processes and methods
• Respect the various established hygiene measures
• Lift weights less than 10 kg

Special working conditions:

• For food quality and food safety reasons, working environments may be humid, hot or cold
• Be available to work overtime
• Be prepared to be assigned to another position on the same shift
• The presence of equipment makes the working environment relatively noisy
• Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and boots as well as hearing plugs are mandatory in production
• Wearing equipment such as hair and beard nets, uniforms and frequent hand washing are mandatory measures in the factory

You stand out by:

• DEP - Operation of production equipment or DES and equivalent experience
• Know how to read, write and calculate
• Manual skills and dexterity
• Be in good physical shape and be able to lift heavy loads
• Know how to use basic computer programs
