Project Manager - Building Division

Our estimation and project management department is made up of more than 20 professionals who combine their expertise and ingenuity to meet the challenges of construction in the Arctic.

TASKS

  • Collaborate in the bidding process and analyze calls for tenders;
  • Analyze plans, specifications and bid documents;
  • Define the needs of the project;
  • Negotiate, award and prepare subcontracts and purchase orders;
  • Coordinate the required staff;
  • Coordinate budgets and monitor invoicing and payments;
  • Ensure the administrative aspect of projects: reports, notices of changes and/or extras or any other amendment to the project;
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the prevention program;
  • Ensure the progress of work in compliance with quality standards, deadlines and planned budgets;
  • Supervise and support the site superintendent;
  • Act as an intermediary between the various stakeholders;
  • Carry out post-mortems of projects and make constructive suggestions to optimize the company's competitiveness;
  • Participate in various meetings (progress project, continuous improvement, etc.…);
  • Any other related tasks.

  • Full-time position (37.5H), permanent from Monday to Friday;
  • Flexible schedule;

  • 20 days of annual vacation and 2 floating days;

REQUIRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, architecture or any other relevant field or any other combination of training and experience related to the position;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale building division project management;
  • Experience with design-built project management an asset;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project software;
  • Advanced oral and written English;
  • Be available for occasional travel to construction sites located in remote areas.
