DIVISION: Police, Corporate Affairs and Municipal Integrity Protection

SALARY: Class 2 - $63,546.78 to $79,433.13

SCHEDULE: 33.75 hours per week, DAY; MONDAY to FRIDAY - 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

WORK MODE: In-person

WORK LOCATION: 1200 Chomedey #975

The challenges that await you

You support the BIEL team regarding activities related to investigations, management of reports, intelligence analysis, administration of various computerized systems, access security, information searches from open sources and police systems.

 

More specifically, you are responsible for:

 

  • analyzing intelligence related to BIEL investigations and structuring its compilation;
  • conducting research on systems related to BIEL mandates;
  • the proper functioning of the reporting line (phone, email box);
  • managing access to BIEL applications (access, licenses, accounts, applications, etc.);
  • the administration and maintenance of the BIEL access system;
  • the security and maintenance of the BIEL interview room.

 

You act as a super-user at the level of the Bureau's systems and applications and liaise with the Innovation and Technology Service. You collaborate on the smooth operation of BIEL activities and contribute to achieving its objectives by recommending measures to optimize the performance

of its activities.

The ideal profile for us
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in public safety/police studies, criminology, or any other relevant field;
  • Have two (2) years of relevant experience;
  • Be recognized for your analytical skills;
  • Possess certification from the Quebec Police Information Centre (CRPQ), an asset.
