Snow Patrol - On Call

The Public Works Department of the City of Laval is responsible for maintaining public roads, sewer and aqueduct networks throughout the Laval territory, including snow removal operations, management and repair of vehicles and equipment, as well as maintenance of parks and green spaces to provide a quality living environment for all citizens.

According to specific instructions, you will be called to:

• Patrol the city neighborhoods by car to assist your daily colleagues in their snow removal operations by reminding Laval residents of the current regulations and raising awareness about good parking practices during the winter season;
• Issue tickets for non-compliance with winter parking regulations;
• Compile related data.

• Hold a secondary school diploma;
• Possess a valid class 5 driver's license;
• Experience in customer service;
• Master the French language (oral and written).

Includes various steps in this order:

• Group interview in person to take place on the following dates: between November 2 and November 13, 2026;
• Pre-employment verification;
• Driving record check.
