Commercial Lines Account Executive

We are recruiting for a Commercial Lines Insurance Account Executive for a leading independent brokerage in the Vaughan, ON area.

Responsibilities:

1. Book Management: Manage a book of medium to large size commercial insurance accounts, working closely with principals and account associates.
2. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessment of clients' operations, determine appropriate insurance coverages, and develop risk management strategies.
3. Relationship Management: Negotiate coverages and rates with underwriters, conduct renewal reviews, and collaborate with the claims department during negotiations.

Desired Skills:

1. RIBO License required with minimum 3 years' experience in commercial lines at a brokerage or insurance company.
2. Willing to complete CAIB, CIP, and/or CRM designations (completed designations are an asset).
3. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
