We are assisting a well-established Quebec company in recruiting its next financial controller. You will join a cohesive and autonomous accounting team, in an organization where human relationships, collaboration, and stability hold significant importance.

You will have enough autonomy to take your place, while having a structure and a team already present around you.

The daily routine combines financial accounting, analysis, proximity to operations, and support for the team. You will therefore be able to maintain a comprehensive view of finances rather than being limited to just one portion of the function.

The organization also places a lot of emphasis on internal progression and wishes to offer perspectives to those who want to evolve with it.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• producing and analyzing monthly financial information;
  
• monitoring budgets, cash flow, and the organization’s results;
  
• analyzing production costs and profitability;
  
• ensuring the follow-up of inventories, fixed assets, and internal controls;
  
• supervising the main accounting cycles;
  
• preparing the necessary files for year-end work;
  
• supporting and assisting the accounting team;
  
• contributing to process improvements and automations already initiated;
  
• acting as a financial partner to management and operations.
  

Manufacturing experience, CPA, team management, cost accounting, use of an ERP, and functional English are assets, but some of these criteria can be flexible depending on your overall experience.
