Your role: Medical Design is at a key stage in its development and is seeking a General Manager – Operations, capable of structuring, mobilizing, and propelling the organization into its next phase of growth. This position is for a hands-on leader who wants to make a real impact within a company where human connection, quality of execution, and rapid decision-making are central to success. Reporting directly to the President, the General Manager – Operations is responsible for the day-to-day management of organization, operational performance and team mobilization. They act as the true conductor of operations, oversee the execution of the strategic plan, and actively contribute to the company's sustainable growth.
Lead daily operations and ensure the overall performance of the organization
Be present on the ground to mobilize, mentor, and inspire teams
Implement structured processes and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Oversee budgets, profitability, and financial performance
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and develop strategic partnerships
Act as a strategic advisor to the President and ensure clear reporting and rigorous results
Minimum of 10 years of experience in general management or operations management
Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or construction environment
Proven leadership and ability to mobilize teams toward common goals
Strong field presence and ability to influence through action
Participative, respectful, and transparent approach that fosters engagement
Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
Strong problem-solving skills and a strong results orientation
resultsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written
