WORK LOCATION: Communications and Marketing, 1333, Boul. Chomedey, Laval, Quebec
Reporting to the Deputy Director of the Communications and Marketing Department, you are responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of the division for marketing research, market intelligence, and organizational performance. You ensure the development of a deep understanding of citizens, clientele, socioeconomic trends, territorial transformations, and the municipal environment to support decision-making and the strategic directions of the organization. You act as a consultant to management and contribute to making research, data, and performance measurement levers for continuous improvement and value creation for citizens.
In this capacity, you participate in establishing the strategic directions of the Department and ensure the integration of research, market intelligence, performance measurement, and financial management functions to support decision-making, continuous service improvement, and the achievement of organizational priorities. You act as a strategic partner to management and ensure the optimal use of resources under your responsibility.
As a member of the Department's management team, you collaborate for its smooth operation and contribute to achieving its objectives. You assess and recommend the human, material, and financial resource needs required for the smooth running of the activities under your charge and manage the budgets allocated to you. You submit detailed reports and may be called upon to make presentations regarding the activities for which you are responsible.
Results-oriented, you guide, direct, and supervise your team members in the execution of their respective mandates, determine the general order of priorities, define objectives, and inform your team of your expectations. You evaluate performance, recognize achievements, and promote staff development by recommending training.
