 JOB DESCRIPTION   HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

 THE COMPANY

Our client is a major Canadian supplier specializing in the sale, rental, and maintenance of heavy equipment, primarily vacuum trucks (hydrovac), sewer cleaning trucks, and infrastructure maintenance equipment. The company serves municipalities, contractors, and industrial businesses.

Main Challenges

We are looking for a heavy equipment mechanic for a position in Montreal.

The job involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment and vehicles.

The successful candidate is responsible for the proper operation and safety of the equipment.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair vehicles or mechanical equipment to ensure their proper operation, safety, and reliability.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or other malfunctions. Hydraulics.
• Repair, adjust, or replace defective parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

 

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

• Training in mechanics (automotive, diesel, industrial, or construction equipment).
• Valid Class 3 driver's license
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools.
• Rigorous, autonomous, and detail-oriented.
• Relevant training or certification

 

COMPENSATION CONDITIONS

• $00 to $43.00 depending on experience
• Excellent benefits package
