Human Resources Assistant
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Student to support HR functions within our Manitoba team.
JOB SUMMARY:
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding by preparing job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews;
• Contribute to HR projects such as training initiatives, wellness programs and workplace events;
• Assist with employee inquires, and benefit registration;
• Maintain HR systems and documentation including administration, personnel files, attendance tracking, and compliance reports;
• Assist with duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently enrolled or recently completed post-secondary Human Resources, Business Administration, or related program;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with applicants, employees, managers, and external partners;
• Basic understanding of HR principles and employment legislation, including recruitment, employee relations, and workplace policies;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for managing data, reports, and documentation and experience with HRIS system considered an asset;
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professionalism in sensitive situations.

WORKING CONDITIONS :
• This position is onsite in Oakbank, Manitoba;
• Term position – 6 months;
• Position expected to start April;
• 40 hours per week;
• Daytime schedule.
