Industrial Mechanic
You’re in luck! We have the perfect position for you! We are currently looking for an Industrial Mechanic in our Oakbank facility. Thanks to your focus and rigor, you will do preventive and corrective maintenance on the machines. You will even perform fabrication and installation during this major construction. It is partly thanks to you that everything will run smoothly!


JOB SUMMARY:
• Assist with the fabrication, installation and adjustment of production equipment;
• Perform maintenance work according to the preventive maintenance program;
• Identify and either resolve required repairs;
• Notify your immediate supervisor of potential issues, hazards, or repairs required that you cannot resolve on your own;
• Assist in the installation of equipment and make the necessary adjustments;
• Adjust, replace and clean parts or equipment, if needed;
• Perform minor welding, electrical or carpentry repairs;
• Read plans and install mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• You have knowledge industrial mechanical systems;
• You have an understanding of industrial electronics and controls;
• Professional certification (journeyman, red-seal, or advanced apprentice) is an asset but equivalent skills and experience will be considered;
• You hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP/DVS) in electromechanical automation or any other relevant field;
• You are autonomous, resourceful and results-oriented;
• You are able to work in team and have good physical capacity;
• You are available during the day, the evening and at night.
