That is good news! Berger is looking for a Millwright Foreman at our Hadashville site to complete our already established maintenance team. Without a doubt, there are some great challenges for you ahead in a company that focuses on innovation and continuous improvement.


JOB SUMMARY:
• Supervise and schedule the maintenance team on rotation to follow production schedules;
• Ensure that routine, planned maintenance, is completed on time;
• Ensure the maintenance team is on hand to address unexpected breakdowns when they occur;
• Identify opportunities for improvement and work with your team, the engineering design team, and management to bring those improvements to fruition;
• Use your leadership experience to mentor your employees, to address performance issues and to ensure your employees are engaged and focused on completing tasks assigned to them;
• Collaborate with various teams on improvement projects related to buildings, equipment and the yard for the entire site.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• You are a licensed journeyman in Industrial Mechanics (an asset);
• You are familiar with industrial electronics and controls;
• You have 2-3 years of leadership experience supervising a small team;
• You have previous experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts in industrial settings;
• You are autonomous, organized and detail oriented in your work.
