Your Responsibilities

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and overall monitoring of hydroelectric power plant projects, including:

Ensuring complete project management, from the call for tenders to final delivery;
Developing schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies;
Supervising and coordinating subcontractors involved in the projects;
Conducting occasional site visits (approximately once a month) to ensure operational follow-up and compliance;
Managing risks, contractual issues, and communications with the client (Hydro-Québec);
Ensuring quality, timelines, and profitability of the projects under your responsibility.

Profile

Your Profile

University degree in civil engineering, project management, or any other relevant training;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing hydroelectric projects (plants, dams, substations, etc.), ideally for Hydro-Québec;
Strong experience in coordinating subcontractors and managing contracts;
Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
Bilingual (French and English);
Mobilizing leadership, rigor, and the ability to thrive in complex environments.
