Perfect timing! We're looking for a Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) Market Manager. In this role, you will have a liaison role between the various commercial teams, in order to analyze markets and collaborate on the development of marketing and sales strategies to achieve the established objectives.


OVERVIEW OF THE WORK:
• Develop marketing strategies to achieve corporate objectives. This includes market segmentation, product positioning and the definition of unique value propositions;
• Monitor various markets to identify trends, opportunities, threats and consumer needs;
• Participate in the design and implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns to stimulate demand;
• Collaborate in product lifecycle management, from design to end-of-life;
• Train on market characteristics and appropriate tactics when required;
• Monitor performance using key performance indicators (KPIs);
• Act as conduit between different functions to ensure all parties are informed of activities within market sector.

SPECIFIC MARKET QUALIFICATIONS :
• Knowledge of key vegetable transplant crops, varieties, trends in specialty crop production;
• Understanding of the supply chain from facility to packer to end user.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS :
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing;
• At least 10 years' experience in a commercial business function;
• Ability to work with different personality types and to adapt to specific audiences;
• Good analytical skills and sound judgment;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Proximity to an airport.
