Maintenance Supervisor
We are looking for a hands-on, organized, and safety-driven Maintenance Supervisor to support our two manufacturing sites in Hadashville and Oakbank, in Manitoba. In this role, you will lead the maintenance team, ensure equipment reliability, and help keep our peat-based horticultural production operations running smoothly.
JOB SUMMARY:
• Lead, schedule, and coach the maintenance team;
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems;
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues;
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers;
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Ensure all maintenance activities follow strict safety procedures and Manitoba regulations;
• Collaborate closely with Production to minimize downtime and optimize performance across both sites.
QUALIFICATIONS :
• Technical diploma in Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, or related field;
• Experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment;
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities;
• Comfort working across two facilities; valid driver’s licence required.

WORKING CONDITIONS :
• Permanent position;
• 40 hours per week;
• Daytime schedule;
• Role requires frequent travel between Hadashville and Oakbank sites;
• Work occurs in a manufacturing environment with heavy equipment and airborne peat particles (dust).
