This is great news! We're looking for a Production Foreman who can mobilize and supervise teams at Berger's plant in Watsonville, California. As Production Foreman, you'll be responsible for achieving set objectives while maintaining and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. This position will enable you to gain more experience, consolidate your leadership skills to enable you to grow into a management role.


OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
• Lead the Watsonville production and packaging teams and conduct regular meetings with employees;
• Work closely with the team leaders who manage production and packaging operations;
• Perform regular daily plant tours and inspections;
• Oversee and ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and environmental standards;
• Monitor KPIs with your team and advance the continuous improvement processes;
• Analyzes production costs and recommends production and packaging improvements;
• Ensures inventory of raw materials is adequate to support planned production;
• Communicate effectively with the maintenance team for all rolling stock and plant equipment maintenance requirements.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish;
• Hold a degree (or possess equivalent experience) in a relevant field;
• Have a staff management experience;
• Knowledge of principles, processes, and implementation of lean manufacturing;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Desire to learn and grow with the company.
