Analyste Senior en Réapprovisionnement

SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Senior Replenishment Analyst is to assure their store assignments maintain fresh, in stock and business ready standards, daily. This is accomplished by using system tools [SAP and BW] that assess trends, promotional requirements and inventory demands to forecast. The Senior Analyst will be accountable for upholding sales and waste targets for their portion of the Food Basics banner, as well as their reports assignments. Additional reports to be provided to Senior Manager and Director, as required.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare purchase orders and liaise with stores ensuring department objectives are met
• Practices “just in time” inventory to maximize freshness and minimize shrink and waste
• Build a constructive rapport with key store and operations personnel to maintain order and fluidity in counter conditions
• Maintain ordering criteria- consumption, MRP and forecasting in SAP
• Analyze data from SAP and BW systems to maximize sales, inventory turns and gross margin
• Work with internal teams to ensure appropriate responses to changing market conditions and promotional plans are executed
• Identifies potential overstock situations proactively
• Collaborate with Metro I.T. teams, identifying specific system adaptations required for holiday scheduling and planning efficiencies
• Participates in weekly meetings with internal production teams
• Additional system accesses used to compile distribution and Promotional planning reports for the Replenishment Analyst team
• Provides holiday coverage for direct manager
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post Secondary education in Supply Chain, Retail Management, Business or industry related experience
• 3-5 years previous experience in replenishment and/or operational retail equivalent
• Knowledge of perishable food product replenishment in CPG environment an asset
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify problems and draw upon a range of choices to formulate solutions
• Knowledge in inventory and supply chain concepts
• Superior time management, priority management and organizational skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP is an asset
• Flexibility to adapt to changing customer demands, schedules, and working under the challenge of tight timelines
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Self motivated with the ability to possess a great sense of urgency
