Truck driver

The driver drives and operates the equipment entrusted to him in order to carry out the work according to the work methods and quality and efficiency standards established by the company. He ensures the quality of the work carried out and its compliance (alignment, proper use of tools, proper completion of the work requested)

Tasks

• Drives the eraser/plotter truck on the various sites and coordinates the work with the machine operator and the day labourers;
• Help load the truck (paint, pipes, etc.);
• Ensures the compliance and maintenance of the truck before departures;
• Perform erasure work in preparation for marking in support with the operator;
• Ensures that the work is carried out according to customer requirements;
• Ensures the cleanliness of the premises and equipment before and after the work;
• Other duties related to the position.

Job Requirements

• Valid driver's license class 3 mention F;
• 3 months to 1 year of class 3 truck driving experience;
• Good knowledge of the region of Montreal, Laval and the regions;
• Quick-witted, good communicator and efficient;
• Interest in night work from April to November – December;
• Ability to work anywhere in Quebec (a strong asset);
• Available 7 days a week, depending on contracts;
• No experience required, nor any diploma;
• Good physical shape, will, rigor;
• Must be able to work in a team;
• Must like to work outside;
