Forklift driver (evening)

MAIN TASKS

• Transport, manually or using mechanical equipment, raw materials, finished products and packaging materials in the plant and warehouse
• Carry out food product processing steps following the rhythm of a production line
• Check products and packaging during production in order to ensure their conformity and quality
• Pack products, manually or with automated equipment, in bags, boxes, bottles or other containers
• Carry out the necessary quality checks and complete the required documents
• Clean work areas and equipment used
• Perform various manual tasks requested by the immediate superior as well as tasks associated with grain returns
• Handle loads of 9kg to 15kg repeatedly
• Any other related tasks

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS

• For food quality and food safety reasons, work environments may be humid, hot or cold;
• Be available to work overtime;
• Be ready to be assigned to another position on the same shift;
• The presence of equipment makes the work environment relatively noisy;
• Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and boots as well as earplugs are mandatory in production;
• Equipment such as hairnets and beard nets, uniforms and frequent hand washing are mandatory measures in the factory.

TRAINING AND SKILLS

• Have a DES (secondary school diploma) or any combination of equivalent training or experience;
• (3) to (6) months of experience
• Manual dexterity, precision and speed
• Ease of learning and enjoyment of teamwork
• Good shape and endurance physical

Job conditions :

• $18.54 as starting salary, to be discussed according to experience.
• Increase after 3 months' probation.
• Bonus of  $0.50 per hour between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m.
• Position permanent
•  EVENING shift (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.) from Sunday to Thursday
