Inside Sales Representative - Telesales

Purpose of this position

Reporting to the Retail Sales Director, the incumbent will be responsible for entering orders for their department, tracking orders placed from the time they arrive until the merchandise is received by customers, and performing clerical tasks.

Job Description

  • Take telephone orders from various chains and direct customers.
  • Enter orders and credits into the computer system.
  • Manage returns.
  • Create order summaries.
  • Enter standing orders into the system.
  • Contribute to customer sales growth.
  • Promote products to customers.
  • Suggest Promotions.
  • Advise customers.

Conditions

  • 6-month employment contract
  • 20-hour schedule per week over 5 days, from 8:00 a.m. to noon
  • Remote / telecommuting
  • Possibility of working overtime during vacation periods
  • Work tools provided (cell phone and computer)

Job Requirements

  • DEC in administration or other relevant training.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in the retail sector is an asset.
  • Knowledge of computer systems ERP/CRM.
  • Team spirit and autonomy
