Ready to own a market segment?
As our next Segment Marketing Manager, you'll join our growing Marketing team and report to the Segment Marketing Director. Your role is critical to driving market growth and customer success in the Agriculture segment of our busines. You act as the voice of the customer inside the company and ensure that all marketing, product, pricing and communications activites are aligned to segment needs and opportunities. In short, you connect strategy to action for your segment.
OVERVIEW OF THE WORK:
Understand growers’ needs, pain points, challenges
Define and execute marketing strategies tailored to your specific customer segment
Plan and implement segment-specific marketing plans to increase product uptake and customer engagement
Adapt global launches to segment specifics (messaginge, tools, events
Lead and customize campaigns for specific segments and regions
Deliver segment knowledge to support the Sales team (tools, playbooks, training)
Identify segment trends, opportunities, unmet needs
Collect insights from the field to feed Product Management, Marketing Intelligence, Communications
Advocate for your segment internally (meetings, briefs, training)
Monitor segment performance using key performance indicators (KPIs);
Act as conduit between different functions to ensure all parties are informed of segment activities
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing or equivalent;
Deep understanding of grower challenges in agriculture (ex: soil health, yield optimization, regulatory constraints in CEA, vegetable transplant, berries production…)
At least 5 years of' experience in a commercial business function (preferably marketing);
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work with different personality types and to adapt to specific audiences;
Ability to travel for work, including to Latin America;
Good Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and sound judgment;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Ability to speak Spanish (an strong asset).
