Field Mechanic
We are looking for a Field Mechanic for our Deer Lake site. Our ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy troubleshooting and performing preventative measures to ensure our equipment is in working order to harvest peat.


JOB SUMMARY:
• Perform daily maintenance on tractors and equipment;
• Carry out repairs and perform preventative maintenance;
• Diagnose and maintain power transmissions, as well as hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems;
• Complete approved work orders according to the established schedule;

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Training or experience in mechanics is required;
• You have a strong mechanical aptitude;
• You have basic welding knowledge;
• You work quickly and efficiently;
• You can prioritize tasks and stay organized.
