Field Maintenance and Opening Attendant – Bay du Vin

We are currently looking for a Field Maintenance and Opening Attendant to join our team in Bay-du-Vin. If you're reliable, hard-working, and thrive in a dynamic, hands-on role, this is the opportunity for you.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Field Maintenance and Opening Attendant, you will be a key player in ensuring our fields are maintained and ready for peat harvesting. This includes:

• Operating heavy equipment such as excavators, tractors, loaders, ditchers, and augers (screws);

• Performing field maintenance, including ditch clearing and preparation;

• Leading peat harvesting activities in our fields;

• Conducting daily inspections and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure safety and functionality;

• Supporting the team in various field operations as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience operating heavy or agricultural equipment is essential;

• Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance;

• Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and teamwork;

• Physically fit and capable of working in varying outdoor conditions;


• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, and weekends.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

• Seasonal position with potential overtime hours that can be banked;

• Shift schedule: Day, evening, and night shifts may be required depending on operational needs.
