The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.

The job involves performing chrome, zinc-nickel, and nickel plating operations through electrodeposition using anodes, forms, anode cages, tanks, chemical solutions, and other techniques.

Tasks include:
- Installing and adjusting the anode cage or anodes on the part
- Performing electroplating operations using plating or rinsing chemical solution tanks, in accordance with procedures.
- Monitoring parameters (amperage, duration, etc.).
- Placing the part in the dehydrogenation oven and programming the heating cycle.
- Troubleshooting technical issues when necessary.
- Inspecting the part to ensure compliance with specifications and taking necessary measures if abnormal situations are detected.
- Organizing work and scheduling tasks according to received instructions on priority parts to be processed.
- Consulting technical documents on the computer such as work drawings, operation sheets, procedures, and providing information for the appropriate Quality Assurance documentation as needed.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries.

Requirements:
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (D.E.P) in surface treatment, aircraft mechanical assembly, aircraft structure assembly, aircraft circuit wiring assembly, welding-assembly, or composite materials
- Minimum of two years of experience in aerospace

Weekend Day Shift:
Friday: 2:10 PM to 8:10 PM, Saturday 6:50 AM to 6:50 PM, and Sunday: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM


Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (evening, night, or weekend)
