Logistics Analyst

Purpose of the position:

 

As a Logistics Analyst at Maison Riviera, your mission is to ensure efficient and optimized management of distribution operations, while maintaining impeccable service for both internal and external customers.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in the development of action plans and strategies to optimize distribution and logistics, relationships with 3PLs and internal and external distributor routes.
  • Perform the analysis and replenishment of external customer inventories (VMI - Vendor Managed Inventory)
  • Coordinate and monitor inventory discrepancies
  • Keep data and processes up to date with the 3PL
  • Develop, update and optimize the IT tools used for inventory management
  • Produce and ensure constant monitoring of logistics performance indicators to monitor process efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize external logistics flows and our internal truck fleet.
  • Participate in the implementation of an ERP system for the management of a permanent inventory, including the management of transfers between factories, in order to optimize the traceability, coordination and efficiency of flows inventory.

Job requirements:

To occupy this position, the following requirements are necessary:

 

  • University degree in operations and logistics management or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • More than 3 years of relevant experience in logistics distribution.
  • Proficiency in the Office Suite, as well as excellent command of Excel software.
  • Experience in the food or dairy industry (a asset).
  • Knowledge of Power BI (an asset)
