Machinist/Toolmaker

Job description:

• Manufacture, repair or modify dies, progressive dies or templates according to
  customer specifications;
• Read and interpret drawings and technical specifications;
• Prepare templates and sketches and choose execution methods;
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances, adjust machine tools;
• Adjust, operate and maintain various conventional machines and computer-aided numerically controlled machines.

Job-specific requirements:

• DEP Machining technique and ASP Tooling, stamping or machining on numerically controlled machine tools
• Reading plans, using measuring tools and micrometers, calculations complex
• Knowledge of progressive matrices;
• 2 years of relevant experience;
• Knowledge of sheet metal (an asset).

Personality traits:

• Be autonomous and meticulous;
• Have a sense of observation;

Schedule: 40 hours/week from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Permanent position 40 hours per week
