Description

Based in Laval, Québec, the President – Managing Director (the “President”) will report directly to the Owner and will have overall accountability for the performance, growth trajectory, and execution of Crescita’s strategic plan. The mandate is to lead the Company through its next phase of development, with a strong focus on profitable commercial growth while ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, e-commerce, manufacturing, R&D, quality, supply chain, and corporate support functions.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned, entrepreneurial CEO / General Manager with a demonstrated track record of growing a business in a complex and multi-channel environment. This individual will bring strong commercial leadership, the autonomy to operate effectively with an international owner, and the ability to connect B2B and Direct-to-Consumer (“DTC”) strategies, as well as having a solid background in brand development, manufacturing, and operational execution.

 

Main Responsibilities

The President – Managing Director will be expected to balance near-term commercial acceleration with sustainable value creation, leveraging Crescita’s established strengths in dermatology, skincare innovation, R&D, manufacturing, and contract manufacturing while expanding the Company’s commercial and digital capabilities.

• Lead the company’s next phase of growth by defining and executing a clear business strategy focused on commercial expansion, market development, innovation, and sustainable value creation, while developing and mobilizing a high-performing team and fostering a strong, collaborative, and entrepreneurial culture
• Act as an entrepreneurial business leader, identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities, partnerships, channels, and markets while maintaining the agility and speed of execution required in a dynamic organization
• Own the company’s overall performance and full P&L, translating the Owner’s strategic direction into clear priorities, business plans, resource allocation decisions, and measurable outcomes
• Drive commercial growth across B2B (professional) and digital channels, with a strong focus on expanding e-commerce capabilities, developing new routes to market, and strengthening the Company’s overall commercial reach and consumer acquisition
• Set the commercial agenda and provide strategic leadership across business development, marketing, brand, go-to-market, and market expansion initiatives, ensuring resources and investments are focused on the strongest growth opportunities
• Build and deepen relationships with key customers, distributors, retailers, strategic partners, and contract manufacturing clients, while developing new commercial opportunities
• Consolidate, inspire, and develop a high-performing leadership team, fostering an entrepreneurial culture characterized by accountability, collaboration, innovation, customer focus, and a strong bias for action
• Ensure strong alignment and collaboration across commercial, manufacturing, R&D, quality, regulatory, supply chain, finance, and other support functions to enable effective execution of the company’s strategy
• Provide executive oversight of manufacturing and contract manufacturing / development activities, ensuring operational capabilities, quality, compliance, service, capacity, and profitability support the company’s growth ambitions
• Establish the operating discipline, performance indicators, accountability mechanisms and decision-making processes required to maintain organizational focus and execution excellence
• Serve as the senior business leader and primary interface with the Owner, exercising a high degree of autonomy, business judgment, and initiative while maintaining clear communication on strategic priorities, performance, risks, and opportunities

 

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, science, or a related field
• MBA or another relevant advanced degree (an asset)

Professional Experience

• Significant senior leadership experience, ideally as a CEO, General Manager, Managing Director, or equivalent, with direct accountability for business performance and growth; accomplished senior commercial executives with broad business leadership experience may also be considered
• Demonstrated success leading growth in a multi-channel business; experience in skincare, medical aesthetics, consumer health, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated sector is highly relevant, and experience with manufacturing or CMO/CDMO activities is a strong asset

Skills

• Strong business and financial acumen, including a full P&L ownership mindset, and the ability to balance growth, margin, investment, and operational discipline
• Deep commercial orientation with experience in business development, sales, brand/marketing strategy, customer acquisition, and channel development
• Strong understanding of e-commerce, digital marketing, and pathway to omnichannel implementation, combined with the ability to effectively manage B2B and DTC channels
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to operate effectively with an international Owner and external partners
