Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder / Welding Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating a variety of welding and metal-shaping equipment, and ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and apply welding process specifications, blueprints, drawings, and manuals.
• Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment.
• Examine welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
• Operate flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal-shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (AOC).
• Determine weldability of materials and recommend appropriate techniques.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using welding machines.
• Operate brazing or soldering machines to bond metals or fill holes and seams.
• Start, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced, physically demanding work environment.
• Repetitive tasks, with extended periods of sitting or standing.
• Handling heavy loads and requiring strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant welding experience.
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and metal shaping techniques.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and various welding equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow safety protocols.
