Experienced plumber

Kaayu Technologies is looking for a full-time experienced plumber to join our team. A qualified individual, eager to learn and willing to grow within the company. Ideal candidates should be reliable, dedicated and hardworking. Please note that this position is permanent.

Responsibilities include

• Install plumbing, heating and gas piping in accordance with job requirements and local codes and regulations.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Troubleshoot plumbing systems to determine the cause of malfunctions and propose solutions.
• Estimate material and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors on construction sites to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Follow safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Use hand and power tools and plumbing equipment efficiently and safe.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.
• Provide excellent customer service, including responding to customer concerns and questions.
• Stay current with industry developments, technologies, and best practices through continuing education.
• Coach and supervise apprentice plumbers as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including proper waste disposal.
• Respond to plumbing emergency calls outside of regular business hours as required.

Requirements include:

• Minimum 4th year apprentice
• Valid driver's license and operating vehicle (not required).
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Come equipped with tools ready to work.
• Reliable and punctual.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Salary: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour

Expected Hours: No less than 40 per week
