Finance and Administration Director

> under the responsibility of the executive vice-president

The finance and administration director actively contributes to achieving the company's strategic objectives by assisting and advising the URBANIA executive team on directions , the company's policies, programs and financial activities, as well as its development and exports.

He leads the accounting and administration team, identifies new financing, proposes innovative and strategic solutions in order to solidify and develop the profitability of projects and business models, and to support the vision of growth, thus directly participating in the positioning of URBANIA as an essential leader in the media industry.

The person ensures the management of all financial, accounting and administrative activities of the company by demonstrating inspiring and caring leadership. p>

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior management to establish medium-term financial projections and profitability objectives, here as in France.
  • Evaluate the financial performance of the organization's various entities as well as its projects and productions.
  • Manage all financing and investment projects: develop and maintain excellent business ties with investors, financial institutions as well as financial and regulatory authorities. li>
  • Establish the annual budget reflecting the company's ambitions, while combining market realities and cash flow management.
  • Implement processes to optimize administration and reporting, while accompanying and supporting your team.
  • Lead, support and manage the accounting team, office administration, human resources and, in collaboration with the technology department, the IT team.
  • Supervise the human resources of the entire company, in conjunction with the HR advisor, the vice-president and the directors of the different teams.
  • Represent the executive team and company at industry events.

Profile sought

  • 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, planning and financial analysis
  • Experience in senior management positions
  • BAC in accounting or finance
  • Expertise in financial management and the accounting cycle
  • Personnel management
  • Commercial transactions (acquisitions-transfers)
  • Knowledge of the field of television production (an asset)
