Team leader – Production plant

Under the supervision of the production supervisor, the incumbent of this position is responsible for the proper conduct of the entire team during their shift.

It must achieve the objectives, ensure value-added production by maximizing yield. Manage, comment and propose possible solutions for optimal performance ratios.

Ensure compliance with health and safety during your shift. She may be called upon to collaborate at other levels depending on production and management needs.

Main challenges

Based on the instructions given and received from the production supervisor, ensure the proper functioning of operations and print the production sheets for the operators

• Ensure that production staff have the necessary materials and equipment to begin their work according to the production schedule
• Implement, train and ensure execution of standard operating procedures established for each workstation. Ensure continuing training of staff and data entry on production sheets.
• Ensure launch scheduling, control production flow, using data indicators to plan workload, ensuring production to best meet objectives
• Maintain and strengthen production efficiency, initiate and implement continuous improvement projects and work with the production supervisor to implement new processes.
• Act as a link between the production and maintenance department while working with technical staff objectively to resolve problems and minimize downtime;
• Support the training of new employees and the smooth running of production activities.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED REQUIREMENTS

Completed high school diploma or equivalent,

Experience 1 to 2 years of team management experience in a similar position.

CONDITIONS Remuneration

$21.50 per hour
