Steel structure designer (Frameur SDS2)

We are looking for a structural steel draftsman with experience in framer with SDS2 software, able to work in a meticulous team. This is a permanent and full-time position in Mirabel.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• 3D modeling of steel structures, detailing of steel structures and producing anchoring and erection plans according to customer requirements;
• Develop and do structural modeling with SDS2
• Analyze and interpret documents for the realization of the construction project;
• Develop and prepare 3D drawings from 2D drawing models preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specifications and other data;
• Perform preliminary 2D drawings;
• Update elements in drawings (elevations, details and anchors);  
• Finalize shop drawings (anchors, frames, glazing, panels, sills, purlins, etc.);  
• Perform any other related tasks.
