Taxation Technician

Performs various tasks related to taxation and the collection of taxes and other revenues as well as the transmission of relevant information.

• Conducts various research with the different departments of the City to resolve requests for tax adjustments within the scope of their responsibilities
• Prepares, from plans and various information, the documents and information used for the distribution and assessment of property taxes for permanent works, for the taxation of transfer duties on real estate and water meter charges, tenants, etc.
• Prepares, from plans and various information, the taxation studies for infrastructure works.
• Prepares, from various information, the required documents for the cash payment of infrastructure expenses.
• Prepares, from various information, the required documents for files requiring collection procedures.

• Possess a college diploma (DEC) in accounting and management techniques or equivalent;
• Have eighteen (18) months of relevant experience in the role, as described in the summary above;
• Master the Office suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
