MAIN CHALLENGES

Under the supervision of the Water Treatment Team Leader, the Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Produce studies and plans and specifications in process mechanics based on guidelines for water treatment projects;
• Perform design calculations and ensure that the plans correspond to guidelines, code and regulatory requirements;
• Establish and maintain contacts with clients to define needs, present technical information, concepts or study results;
• Produce quantity surveys and prepare budget estimates;
•    Select and implement pumping systems and water treatment equipment;
•    Ensure the verification and production of tender documents, quotes and other technical documents;
•    Supervise the work of junior and intermediate engineers, technicians and designers assigned to the project;
•    Manage multidisciplinary work teams;
•    Carry out project management;
•    Participate in the production of professional service offers;
•    Travel, when required as part of the project, for meetings with clients, surveys, equipment start-ups, etc.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

•  10 to 15 years of relevant experience in water treatment;
• Member of the OIQ
• Experience in consulting engineering is an asset.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in water engineering or civil, chemical, biochemical engineering or any other training deemed equivalent with a specialization in water treatment.
