CNC Machinist

We are looking for a CNC machinist for a permanent full-time position

The tasks assigned must be carried out in compliance with the safe working methods implemented in the plant and by ensuring good communication with the other members of the production team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans or examine part samples in order to determine the machining operations to be performed and to determine the optimal sequence of operations.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• Measure and order the elements to be machined.
• Set up, operate and maintain various machine tools, computer numerical control (CNC) tooling, to perform precision machining work, such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, planing, drilling and rectification.
• Adjust and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and mechanical tools.
• Verify, using precision measuring instruments, that product dimensions are accurate and compliant;
• Any other related tasks related to the job.

Training

• Diploma of professional studies (DEP), Mechanical manufacturing - Machining on numerically controlled machines - tools
• Experience 1 to 2 years
