Tasks and responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, obligations, etc. in health and safety matters and advise supervisors and workers on safe work methods; Perform all other related tasks related to occupational health and safety; Be present at site receptions; Act as a resource person for occupational health and safety; Issue recommendations related to site health and safety; Inspect workplaces daily and ensure that employees comply with current health and safety standards; Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the site health and safety management program; Develop work methods, procedures, analyze problem situations, and possible solutions; Attend and lead safety breaks (as needed); Prepare daily observation reports ; Participate in and lead site committees (as needed); Participate in investigations following a workplace accident; Take charge of special projects; Assist CNESST inspectors during their site visits;Skills and experience sought:
