Heavy-duty mechanic

To support our growth and ensure the reliability of our transportation fleet, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team.

Your Responsibilities

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, your mission will be to maintain and repair our heavy vehicles to ensure their safety and performance. More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks and trailers.

• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.

• Repairing or replacing defective parts in accordance with applicable standards.

• Carry out regulatory mechanical inspections.

• Maintain maintenance records and report any anomalies.

• Collaborate with the logistics team to minimize downtime.

Required profile

• DEP (vocational diploma) in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.

• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Skills in diagnostics and problem solving.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Class 1 or 3 driver's license (an asset).
