Polisher - Evening Shift

Let's talk about your future mission

165 TONS REST ON OUR EXPERTISE

Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.

The polisher's job involves deburring (rounding) the edges of the part that is the main component of the landing gear, to prevent cracks from forming during heat treatment (high-temperature heating). It also serves to give the final dimensions to the part by performing polishing to achieve very precise radii and diameters. This operation is carried out using manual pneumatic tools or a robot. The polisher must perform inspection of the parts.
