Tasks

• Consult with other health care professionals to evaluate treatment plans
• Review reports from health care professionals to determine patients' current and potential functioning levels
• Prepare a treatment plan for each patient
• Implement treatment plans
• Initiate, design and implement specialized therapy programs
• Design specialized therapy programs to maintain, rehabilitate or enhance movement, musculoskeletal functioning and performance in sports, work and recreation

• Canadian Athletic Therapists Association Membership (CATA)
• Fascial stretch therapy (FST) Certification
• Accreditation or registration with the appropriate national, provincial or territorial professional association
• CPR Certificate
• First Aid Certificate
• Certification with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP)
